Job Summary:
This is a customer service-related job that includes working at the Maryhill Winery Tasting Room & Bistro in the kitchen and tasting room. They will perform various support duties at the tasting room & bistro as needed. TR Dishwasher & Kitchen Support Ambassadors are responsible for representing Maryhill Winery in a positive and professional manner; upholding exceptional customer service including greeting customers and creating a fun and entertaining atmosphere where customers have an extraordinary and memorable experience as they enjoy wines and bistro selections. This position is assigned support tasks working within a team in a fast-paced tasting room and bistro.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assist in routine cleaning tasks in keeping with company standards to maintain the cleanliness & appearance of the Tasting Room & Bistro.
- Assist kitchen with assigned cooking & prepping tasks including the hot line.
- Cleaning tasks will include washing & polishing wine glasses, stocking glassware, bussing tables, washing dishes, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Clean work area including equipment, floors, walls, cooking areas, and refrigerator/freezer units.
- Keep all kitchen wares storage areas clean and orderly.
- Ensure that all levels for sanitizer on dish machines and pot sinks are at the specific requirements for health standards.
- Cleans and sanitizes garbage cans.
- Remove trash and recycling and transport to the dumpster.
- Other duties as assigned by the Tasting Room Manager and Culinary Lead.

- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
- Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
- Demonstrates problem-solving ability.
- Able to work a flexible schedule.

- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Excellent communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Repetitively reaching, grasping, bending, twisting, and lifting items up to 50 lbs. without concern, and placing items on high and low shelves.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Frequent reaching, twisting at the waist, bending, and squatting.
- Pushing and pulling occasionally, to move equipment, mops, and brooms.
- Ability to withstand temperatures in a hot and damp kitchen environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Rate: $20-$22 per hour

This venue operated six days a week. Because of the nature of the business employees may be asked to work different hours or perform special duties based on the demands of the guests and the business, so flexibility is required.
